About Hadley Baker

Hadley Baker has built his ministry as Lead Pastor of City On A Hill Community Church in Rowlett, Texas, near Dallas, around a commitment to clear, practical biblical teaching.

That commitment extends well beyond the pulpit. He provides pastoral and biblical counseling to individuals and couples working through marriage, loss, faith, and important life decisions. His counseling is offered as ministry guidance rather than licensed clinical care. He also develops leaders within the church, officiates weddings, and walks alongside individuals and families through funerals, memorial services, and seasons of grief.

His approach to leadership is rooted in a simple conviction: leadership begins with service, and character is revealed by who a person is when no one is watching.

He is also the author of No Longer A Slave, available on Amazon in print and audiobook formats. The book addresses addiction, freedom, faith, and breaking the patterns that keep people stuck, and he contributes to faith-based podcasts on faith, relationships, leadership, and personal growth.

Outside of ministry, Baker is a husband who enjoys woodworking and building furniture, playing guitar, traveling, and running. He has completed half marathons in national parks and enjoys combining his love of travel with the outdoors.
